Website redesign for Penn State Athletics
As an intern at Surge Consulting, I collaborated with a student team to execute a complete website redesign for Teammates for Life, a women's athletics organization at Penn State.
The original site lacked visual balance and condensed critical information into a single, crowded webpage. Building on a previous team's early prototype, we were tasked with engineering a fully functional WordPress site tailored to the client's strategic goals and operational requirements. We ran iterative development sprints, regularly meeting with executive directors to gather feedback, refine features, and adapt the layout to their needs.
Midway through the project, I stepped up to serve as Team Lead following a transition in leadership. In this role, I served as the primary client contact, pitch lead for proposed design modifications, and project manager for our student developer team through final delivery.
